Learning through Listening
The first year of 52 weekly Sunday worship services was recorded in 2009 and 2010, and is available to download free of charge. Listening to these worship services, one per week over a year period of time, will give you an education equivalent to a first degree in Pagan studies with a specialization in the Goddess Fortuna. In addition, you will have the benefit of a 45 to 60-minute audio worship service, and the wonderful music and guests, many of whom are well known within the Pagan community. After the first year, new worship service downloads will be available to informal members and non-members for a donation of $20 per worship service.
The first year of studies includes Roman holidays for Our Goddess Fortuna in all her aspects, eight Pagan holidays, including solstice, equinox and Celtic cross-quarter-points, twelve zodiac sun signs, thirteen Celtic moon months, and bonus material!
We have color-coded the episode titles on this page to match the seasons, with green lettering in the colder months, and red lettering in the warmer months. Those who live in the southern hemisphere may wish to listen to the episodes to match the season colors, rather than following the months.
As the years go on, the student learns that the subjects in these worship services are timeless because the same holidays, sun signs and moon months repeat themselves in the same sequence every year, like a wheel in slowly continuing motion. This predictable pattern is especially beneficial during difficult times, and a reminder of natural events we can all count on to continue, as the sun appears to rise and set every day. Therefor, the same worship services can be listened to year after year in the same order, if you so desire.
