Helping the Homeless

Subscribers and supporters of the Temple are encouraged to participate in our Helping the Homeless
program. Helping the homeless can be as simple as making a habit of keeping inexpensive,
easy-to-open, nonperishable meals or snacks with you when you are out and about, and
giving them to the needy people you meet. Opening a window to giving and receiving
creates an endless and ongoing cycle of joy, sharing and love.

Sign our guest book and tell us about the good deeds
you have done for those less fortunate than yourself
as your offering to honor the Goddess Fortuna.

Another aspect of Fortuna came my direction after your question, and She is Fortuna Salutaris (health-bringing). I don't know much about Her, except for the name and that She is said to bring good health.

Thankyou Mama Fortuna for answerinng my questions so fast. I probably get to be a pest. My mind is always working and coming up with these questions. That is a wonderful thing you do with the trail mix and water. I will be saying a prayer for you tomorrow on the day of Fors Fortuna. I am sure this pesty ant will be in touch again hopefully with a membership. Blessings, Kip

You may certainly try. The Goddess Fortuna has many aspects and, while she is not necessarily a health Goddess, her aspect of Fortuna Primigenia touches on health for women and children. Her aspect of Fortuna Virilis touches on health for men. It's certainly worth a try, imo. Check out the Information + Dates page.

I guess what I am asking is can I get blessings from Goddess Fortuna other than monetary ones. I usually will not ask for those. I will ask for things like good health for family. Things like that. I really am drawn to this website and I feel you are a very nice person who is there when someone is searching. Thankyou and many blessings. Kip
