Her first revelation of Paganism occurred as a child through the portal of an underworld mineral spring in Colorado to the mystical realm of Greco-Roman mythology and a botanical gift of the elders.
She was an elected officer for the Tolkien Society, studied classical and Roman Catholic Church music and graduated from college with honors at age 17. At the Royal Music Conservatory in Spain, she absorbed the historic energies of Europe and the UK and applied these energies to the study of both classical music and architectural design of Pagan Temples and Cathedrals.
She received a University degree in architecture, but her career as an architect was interrupted by a miracle of life survival. Working long hours as an apprentice, she fell asleep whilst driving to work. The automobile bounded over a cliff, bounced twice and came to rest upside down after travelling a diagonal distance of 200x100 feet through space and time. The effects of defying death were misdiagnosed by mainstream medical, which ignored the obvious; the cause was an auto accident.
She trained her body in the power of natural strength and her mind in the foundation of spiritual belief with over ten years of intense focus on three separate pathways within the Abrahamic religions. As the mind, body and spirit healed, other gifts came forward which could not be explained by the bible.
She was given the pathway to Seven Secrets of the Initiated and the Grand Masters by direction of reknowned clairvoyant psychic Maria Duval. At the passing of her elderly dog, she joined the clergy of Church of Spiritual Humanism, attending their online Seminary as a foundation for her life ordainment.
She explored botanical healing methods, created funerary gardens and established rites for honoring the deceased. She performed as a priestess at the Goddess Temple of Orange County, rising from Earth to Sun under the direction of Reverend Ava Parks.
She became known as Mama Fortuna; religious leader of Temple of Fortuna dot com. Mama Fortuna continues educating herself in new-age Pagan Goddess worship, the Roman Goddess Fortuna and Pagan practice.
Mama Fortuna has studied with International Masters of Sweden, the Cultural Institute Quetzalcoatl of Mexico and has completed degree coursework at the Magicka School located in Italy, where she is a life member.
Mama Fortuna's sermons and articles have been published at international Pagan and Wiccan websites where she has accomplished global Pagan and Goddess community outreach for her temple. Mama Fortuna is a wedding officiant in California, where she is recognized as clergy.

Temple of Fortuna President, E. Sylvia Simpson, a business woman and architect for real estate projects, expanded her work in the corporate world to include spirituality as part of her life mission:
To help relearn the international Pagan foundations of contemporary religions, to bring back elements of the Sacred and Divine Feminine from its Pagan roots to Sunday worship and to support the mission of a new kind of Goddess temple devoted to the detailed study and following the adoration of one Goddess.
While establishing the business systems that created a public charity, she simultaneously developed an international online congregation. At this writing the organization is the only online Temple of its kind in the world. She currently runs the business of the Temple and leads Sunday services as Mama Fortuna.
She is also an expert advisor at the Religion and Spirituality department of LivePerson network where she may be reached directly for private religious consultations regarding general spirituality and her personal study, research and knowledge of NeoPaganism, Wicca, traditional Paganism and the ancient religion.
She also provides psychic readings at LivePerson, in tarot, runes and I ching, magical suggestions and occult interpretations for the amusement and entertainment of her secular clients.
Temple of Fortuna Treasurer, Robert M. Place, is an internationally known visionary artist, whose award winning works, in painting, sculpture, and jewelry, have been displayed in galleries and museums in America, Europe, and Japan. He is the designer, illustrator, and coauthor of The Alchemical Tarot and The Angels Tarot, which have received international acclaim. He is designer, illustrator, and author of the award winning The Tarot of the Saints, The Buddha Tarot, and The Vampire Tarot.
He is the author of The Tarot: History, Symbolism, and Divination, which Booklist has said, “may be the best book ever written on that deck of cards decorated with mysterious images called the tarot.” He is the author of Astrology and Divination, Magic and Alchemy, and Shamanism written for the Mysteries, Legends, and Unexplained Phenomena series.
He is the curator of The Fools' Journey
and the author of the catalog for this
exhibition of Tarot art that originated at the
LA Craft and Folk Art Museum. He was the
guest of honor at the opening of the
Tarot Museum in Riola, Italy.
He has created numerous illustrations for books
and magazines, his Facsimile historic Italian Tarot
is included in the collection of the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, and he and his work
have appeared on A&E, the Discovery Channel
and the Learning Channel.
Temple of Fortuna Permanent officers are located throughout the USA. President Sylvia Simpson is on the west coast, Treasurer Robert Place is in the north east, and Secretary Deborah Hann is in the southern region. Our officers bring a great range of experience from the professions to occult artistry to classic Paganism.
Temple of Fortuna Board of directors are elected annually at our November 1st meeting. Board meetings have been recorded at BlogTalkRadio since our first board meeting in May 2010 and are open to the public for online listening. Elected board opportunities are open internationally to adults 18 years of age and above, where it is legal to serve for our California corporation. We have been very proud of every member of our board and their contributions to the Temple.

Day of Fors Fortuna
Tragically, after a neighboring landowner in Los Angeles removed a property line wall without no notice, Solstice mysteriously disappeared on November 6, 2007. We continue to pray for his safe return from his new home. He is very much loved and missed. This website is dedicated to Solstice, Wolf's younger brother, with blessings.
